I qualified as a Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapist back in 2010, after having cognitive hypnotherapy for a fear of spiders. It worked so amazingly well, I applied for the training, and spent a year becoming a better version of myself through the therapy I had, and the coaching skills I learned. I believe that anything you really want is possible, as soon as you get rid of those brain-barriers we’ve subconsciously learned as we’ve got older.

I don’t put you in a trance, I take you out of the trances that are keeping you stuck where you currently are. Trance is just a pattern of behaviour that feels like you’ve always had it and always will – working together, we create new, positive patterns of behaviour, getting you where you want to be, doing what you want to be doing.

Cognitive Hypnotherapy is like having a conversation, but occasionally you do weird things like tap your eyebrow or lift an arm up, just to get your subconscious mind to lock things into place. You can have therapy with your eyes open, walking around the room, or just sitting back and relaxing. I’d rather you didn’t fall asleep, as I would like the conversation to be two-way!
